Dance Community Safety



From April 01st 2022 Neg LFT test confirmations are no longer required for entry to our events.

We thank you for your co-operation throughout this complex health period.



Unfortunately, the risk of virus transmission cannot be eliminated completely.

If you feel uncomfortable with the risk,

please do not attend our event until such time that you feel is right for you and your circumstances.

We thank you in advance for complying with this and helping all in the dance community,

to minimize the chance of any viral, colds & flu transmission.


Please observe the dancing communities' respectful & decent request for good hygiene.

As a member of the dance community, how can you help?
Well, clean hands matter.
You can 'do your bit' to reduce the spread of any cold & flu bugs,

through good personal hygiene.
Making use of the soap and any sanitisers available,

inc bring your own hand gels..

Please familiarise yourself with the latest Government or NHS guidance and
do not visit dance venues if you have any cold or flu symptoms or
are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 and are advised to self-isolate
Follow Government guidance if you are a returning traveller
With the efforts of everyone in the dancing community,
let's work together to keep everyone safe and healthy.

For health and safety reasons, we no longer supply plastic / disposible cups.

Please bring your own resuable drinking container / coffee cup / water bottles etc

to enable you to enjoy any tea / coffee / water that is available.

NB: Polite notices.  

These halls have excellent floors and prohibit the use of talc

or any other substance for use, or on dance shoes,

in the dancing areas/floors, as well as anywhere in the building.


Aerial type / lift dance moves, are not permitted.

Appropriate dance shoes / sensible footwear are required,

eg Flip flops, & Stilleto heels are not permitted on the dancefloors for safety and potential damage reasons.


We ask all dancers to respect other dancers' safety & personal space;

also to respect the buildings' facilities / rules etc, while dancing with us.
